25th Annual Autumn Sports Classic Car Show
On Saturday,August 30, 2008, the Buffalo Octagon Association will be hosting
its 25th Annual Autumn Sports Classic car show and picnic for sports cars
and fine touring automobiles. This is a family oriented event, and will
once again be held at the casino at Como Lake Park in Lancaster, New York.
The field opens at 9 a.m. Judging is by popular vote and will start at
noon. Dash plaques will be given to the first 125 entrants. There are
20 different classes for all types of sports cars, and trophies will be
awarded at 4 p.m.
This event is fun for the whole family! There is a fee for those entering
a car in the show, but anyone can come and join in on the fun for free!
Along with the cars, there will be games, prizes and entertainment, as
well as a chinese auction that you have to see to believe! Food and beverages
will be available as well. A portion of the proceeds from this show will
be donated to local charities. Come join in on the fun and see some of

of the Brits
This year as for the past 26 the Detroit Triumph Sports Car Club and the
Metro Triumph Riders Motorcycle club jointly host the 26th Annual Battle
of the Brits British Car and Motor Cycle Show. The event will be
held Sunday September 14, 2008 at Freedom Hill Park in Sterling Heights,
Michigan. Each year over 300 classic British Cars and the same number
of Motorcycles, compete for an award in various categories both judged
and selected by participates. Traditionally, over 2000 British car lovers
come down to the park to show, view, and meet with other car crazy
classic car lovers. Kids of all ages can participate in the Parts
Toss and other fun events as well. New this year Slot car Racing.
Race vintage slot cars against 4 other drivers in timed races. Awards

October 12, 2008 Middleburg, VA. The annual
Hunt Country Classic British Car Show is arguably the best British car
show in the mid-Atlantic region. Held at Willoughby Farm near beautiful
Middleburg, Virginia, it is hosted by champion race car driver Bill Scott
and his wife Barbara, and put on by the MG Car Club, Washington DC Centre.
The show includes not only classic British cars the best MGs, Jaguars,
Triumphs, Healeys, Sprites & Midgets, Rolls Royces & Bentleys,
TVRs, and Morgans but also legendary British bikes, exotic British
sports and race cars, and upper class touring sedans. Awards are given
to winners in 23 classes. One special award given is the "Ambassador's
Choice Award," presented by the British Ambassador or his designee.
In addition to the beautiful automobiles, there will be hayrides, apple
cider pressing, pipers, a silent auction, vendors, and hot food, including
British favourites, cooked on site, and deli sandwiches for your dining
enjoyment. A fall British Car Show in the beautiful Virginia Hunt Country!
It just doesn't get any better than the Hunt Country Classic. The first
cars begin arriving by 9 am and the show concludes about 2pm, shortly

Its Jamboree 16! The Florida Suncoast MG Car Club would like to
